The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) has a centralized med school application that everybody fills out, ostensibly to save time for both applicants and admissions committees. Unfortunately, a whole new generation of browsers have arrived seemingly without their notice.

It’s a real shame when I can go to a site for future doctors in Firefox 3.5, Safari 4, Google Chrome, and even Internet Explorer 8 and get “unsupported browser” every single time. On Windows, I ended up having to view the page in IE8 under “compatibility view,” where it pretends it’s IE7. When I’m on my Mac at work, my only option is to not upgrade Firefox 3.0 to 3.5, since no other OSX browser works with the site. Way to go.
